1. Introduction & Service Scope
Welcome to SkyNet Print+ (“SkyNet Print+”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), accessible via our official platform website at www.skynetprint.uk, our Android mobile application, and our Windows PC print management software.
SkyNet Print+ operates as a software and technology platform service provider. Our services encompass:
- Windows PC Software: Specialized desktop POS and print management software designed for print shop operators to manage print queues, job specifications, printer routing, and licensing.
- Android Mobile Application: Mobile client application enabling users to store personal documents, manage cloud storage subscriptions, preview print jobs, and submit print requests.
- Cloud & Backend Infrastructure: Secure cloud document storage, metadata indexing, account management, and service payment processing.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, processed, and safeguarded when you interact with our applications, websites, and official platform services.
2. Independent Print Shop Operations & Financial Separation
Important Architectural & Business Separation:
Print shops utilizing SkyNet Print+ software are independent commercial entities. SkyNet Print+ does not own, operate, or employ local print shops. Independent print shops independently control and manage their own local pricing, customer service, counter cash collections, direct customer UPI payments, shop-level wallet balances, and local bonus rules.
This policy distinguishes between:
- Information processed by SkyNet Print+ for its own platform services (such as PC software licenses, mobile cloud storage subscriptions, user accounts, and platform infrastructure).
- Information independently managed by individual print shops for their own local business operations and counter customer transactions.
3. Information We Collect
Depending on your role (individual mobile user, registered customer, or print shop operator), we may process the following categories of information:
- Account & Contact Identifiers: Name, mobile phone number, email address (where provided), username, and unique account identifiers (such as Customer Code or Shop Code).
- Print Shop Business Details: Shop commercial name, physical shop address, city, contact numbers, device identifiers, and operator profiles required for operational fulfillment and licensing.
- Software & Hardware Licensing Telemetry: Machine identifiers, POS terminal hardware identifiers, operating system version, and software license activation keys necessary to validate and enforce PC software subscriptions.
- Cloud Storage & Document Metadata: Uploaded document files (PDFs, images, documents), file sizes, page counts, upload timestamps, and storage quota utilization metrics when users utilize our cloud document space.
- Platform Payment & Subscription Audit: Transaction reference IDs, order IDs, payment gateway identifiers (e.g., Razorpay payment tokens), subscription start/expiry dates, and plan codes for official SkyNet Print+ platform service purchases (e.g., PC software licenses and mobile storage plans).
- System & Security Logs: IP addresses, login timestamps, device type, application version, error logs, and audit trail events necessary for platform security and stability.
4. How Information Is Used
We process collected information for legitimate operational and business purposes, including:
- Account Administration: Authenticating users, operators, and administrators, maintaining profile state, and facilitating account recovery.
- Platform Service Delivery: Providing Windows PC print queue routing, document rendering, and mobile cloud storage access.
- Software Licensing & Subscription Governance: Validating PC software licenses, enforcing cloud storage quotas, and managing renewal periods.
- Customer & Technical Support: Investigating service disruptions, diagnosing spooler or synchronization errors, and responding to inquiries.
- Security & Fraud Prevention: Detecting unauthorized access, preventing duplicate transaction claims, and maintaining comprehensive audit logs.
- Legal & Regulatory Compliance: Fulfilling accounting, tax, and lawful regulatory disclosure obligations where applicable.
5. Cloud Files & Document Handling
When you upload documents to SkyNet Print+ personal storage or submit a print payload:
- Files are transmitted securely over HTTPS/TLS and stored in encrypted cloud storage environments (such as Cloudflare R2 / S3-compatible infrastructure).
- Document storage is subject to your selected subscription plan quota and platform retention policies.
- Administrative & Technical Access: We do not browse user private documents as a matter of routine. Authorized technical or administrative personnel may access storage infrastructure only when strictly necessary for technical maintenance, security investigation, system restoration, or compliance with applicable legal orders. All such access is governed by strict operational controls and audit logging.
6. Payment Information & Gateway Processing
SkyNet Print+ collects payments exclusively for its own official platform services (such as PC software licenses and mobile cloud subscriptions):
- Zero Sensitive Card Storage: SkyNet Print+ does not collect, capture, or store sensitive credit/debit card numbers, CVVs, or banking passwords on its servers.
- Authorized Payment Gateways: All electronic payment transactions for platform services are processed through certified and authorized payment aggregators (such as Razorpay). Sensitive payment credentials remain solely with the authorized payment processor.
- Platform Financial Records: We retain only transactional reference metadata (e.g., Gateway Order ID, Payment ID, amount paid, timestamp, and fulfillment status) for billing audit and accounting purposes.
7. Print Shop Independence & Local Financial Transactions
Individual print shops operate as independent commercial businesses. When a customer pays a print shop directly (via counter cash, direct UPI QR code, or shop-operated payment terminal) or utilizes an in-shop customer wallet/top-up bonus program:
- Those funds are collected and managed directly by the independent print shop owner.
- SkyNet Print+ does not hold, custody, or guarantee independent shop customer wallet balances or local promotional bonuses.
- Inquiries regarding local print shop pricing, print quality, cash refunds, or counter service must be addressed directly to the respective print shop management.
8. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to data brokers or third-party marketers. Information is disclosed only under the following lawful circumstances:
- Infrastructure & Hosting Providers: With trusted cloud infrastructure and storage providers (e.g., cloud hosting, database providers, and R2 object storage) who process data under strict confidentiality and security terms.
- Authorized Payment Providers: With certified payment gateways to securely complete platform service purchases.
- Print Job Fulfillment: With the specific print shop chosen by the user, strictly to the extent necessary to render and print the requested document payload.
- Legal & Regulatory Authorities: When required by applicable law, court order, or governmental regulation, or to protect the vital legal rights, safety, and security of our platform and users.
9. Data Security Measures
We implement comprehensive technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal data, including:
- TLS/HTTPS encryption for all data in transit across web, PC software, and mobile interfaces.
- Encrypted storage and token-based authentication (JWT / Argon2 password hashing).
- Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) restricting system permissions strictly by organizational role.
- Immutable audit logging for security-sensitive operational actions and state transitions.
10. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account remains active or as required to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy:
- Active Account Data: Retained during the active lifecycle of your account.
- Cloud Documents: Maintained in accordance with your active storage subscription plan. Documents in expired or inactive tiers may be flagged for archival or scheduled deletion in accordance with platform storage lifecycle rules.
- Financial & Transaction Records: Retained for statutory periods required by applicable accounting, tax, and corporate compliance laws.
11. User Rights & Choices
Users and print shop operators have rights regarding their personal data, including:
- Access & Review: Accessing profile details, active subscriptions, and storage utilization via the mobile app or web portal.
- Correction & Update: Updating contact details or business information through your account settings.
- Account Deletion & Data Removal: Requesting account termination and associated file deletion by contacting platform support, subject to legal recordkeeping obligations.
12. Children's Privacy
SkyNet Print+ software, applications, and platform services are intended for general commercial and adult users. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information directly from children under the age of 16 without parental or guardian consent. If we become aware that personal information of a child has been collected without verification, we will take prompt steps to remove such data.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect enhancements in our software, cloud services, or legal obligations. When changes are made, the updated revision date will be prominently displayed at the top of this page.
